The 2008 season ended on a high note with a couple top 5 finishes. If we could just wipe out our streak of bad
luck during the middle of the season, we would have been a little bit higher then 6th in points.
The team would like to thank our sponsors BI Motorsports, Loveland Tire and Service, Windsor Performance and Exhaust,
Trademark Imaging, Royal Purple and Web by Briggs.
Here are a couple Highlights from 2008:
6-14-08....We did it again....THE RIGHT WAY
Erie, CO--Saturday June 14, 2008
A blistering hot day was in store for the #32 B.I. Motorsports Dodge team. The
team was short handed to start off the day, and not helping at all was the fact that the scales at the shop, didnt match the
track scales. We were fortunate that Ronnie Hults let us use his scales, so Dave and Mark re-did the truck themselves in the
blistering heat.
After it was good to go, it was about time for practice. Mark jumped into the cockpit and Eric Meisner
ran over and started assisting along with Chris Naeb from the Badwrench team. We thank them for their help. The rest of the
crew showed up and the truck was blistering fast in practice. Happy hour was cancelled so it was time to finally calm down
a little bit.
Mark was lined up second for the second Pro Truck qualifier, and the team decided to save tires for
the main event. Mark got the lead, but the #1 of Happy Ferree charged by to take the win with Mark in second over #36 Richard
Burton.
The invert would come up a 5, putting Mark on the outside front row, next to fellow Dodge #7 Adam Deines. After
a bad start, Mark grabbed the lead and set sail. Happy Ferree in the #1 truck pressured Mark for several laps on the inside
but got loose several times trying to make the pass stick. Ferree fell back in line but was now battiling the #7 of Deines.
#23 Jake Snider spun for a caution and that put Ferree on Marks's bumper. Mark took the lead back, and the battle for second
between Deines and Feree continued until hard racing ended in a turn 2 crash that also collected #42 Ronnie Hults. Mark led
the rest of the way for the second victory of the season over #33 Beau Kellogg and #07 Chris Leaf.
Mark is now tied
with #42 Ronnie Hults for the most wins in the division with 2, while Ferree has the other win. With the win, Mark gained
2 points in the championship standings, extending the lead to 8 over #33 Beau Kellogg.
The BI Motorsports team would
like to thank our associate sponsors Loveland Goodyear, Trademark Imaging, Windsor Performance and Exhaust and Web by Briggs.
The
team would also like to again thank Eric and Chris for the help during the brutal afternoon.
The next race for the
B.I. Motorsports team is on June 28 when Colorado National Speedway presents the "Race to Find Missing Kids."

Colorado National Speedway 5-24-08
A hot day awaited the team at the Speedway. After many of the competitors came over and congratulated Mark, and
Joe Starr coming over to get a shot of Mark with the trophy it we were ready.........almost.
The truck developed a Power Steering problem in practice, sometimes in the turns it would work, sometimes it didnt.
After flushing it out it was semi-fixed for the action. Mark drew 74 out of 75, but when it was time to see how it would
work out, the numbers were inverted so it worked out.
We were on the pole for the second B-Main and Mark jumped out to the lead and drove away from the field, after letting
up because his lead was so big, Mark still won by 1/4 lap over #06 Adam Hilton. Time for the main event, Adam Hilton
#06 was on the pole, with Mark in third. Ronnie Hults #42, last years champion, led early with Mark in tow. #4
Ross Thompson and #1 Happy Ferree both got by Mark and Mark was having a great race with #7 Adam Deines. On lap 34,
#4 Thompson and #1 Ferree crashed hard with #4 going upside down.
It was a 6-lap shootout, did Mark have anything for Hults? The team was about to find out. On Mark's bumper
was #7 Deines. The race restarted with Mark in second, with 2 laps left, Mark poked to the inside of Hults, but could'nt
pull off the pass. Hults took the win with Matk right on his bumper and Deines right behind Mark.
We will take the second place, it was a great points night for the Neff Racing team, battiling through Power Steering
problems. Our points lead is now 8 over #33 Beau Kellogg.
We run again this weekend 5/31

B.I. MOTORSPORTS COLLECTS FIRST PRO TRUCK WIN
B.I. Motorsports, PR
The B.I. Motorsports Dodge driven by Mark Neff picked up their first
career Snap-On Tools Pro Truck win Saturday night during the Jeg's High Performance Chase at Colorado National Speedway.
During
the practice sessions, the #32 truck driven by Neff was incredibly fast, and then the truck was prepared for the evenings
festivities. Neff was scheduled to line in in the fourth position for the second Pro Truck qualifier heat race. After a great
battle with the #33 truck of Beau Kellogg, Mark got by Beau at the line to take the second position, behind the #74 of Cris
Muhler.
With the inversion coming up a 5, it would put the #07 Toyota of Chris Leaf on the pole with the #32 Dodge
of Neff on the outside. The truck was set-up for the main event, and the truck was sent to the scales for pre-race inspection.
Going across the scales, the #32 Dodge was 1/8 of an inch too low, and that sent Neff to the back of the field, after the
problem was corrected.
When the A-Main rolled out, Neff started in the back of the 16-truck field for the 40-lap feature.
As the green flag flew, Mark was picking off trucks one by one, knowing it was going to be a long race. The first caution
flew for the #42 of Ronnie Hults and the #07 of Chris Leaf getting together in turn 3. Cris Muhler in the #74 truck was leading
the field. At the caution Mark was in 10th position. On lap 19, #19 Randy Whittman and #33 Beau Kellogg tangled for a caution
with Neff now in the 6th position. On lap 24, Neff was up to the third position behind #74 Muhler and second place #1 Happy
Ferree.
Neff was catching the leaders, when a caution flew on lap 31 for #48 Mike Boesel stopped at the track exit.
Muhler pulled off the track under the caution handing the lead to #1 Ferree with Neff in second over #33 Kellogg. Back under
green, Neff and Ferree started a fight for the lead that would continue till the end. Ferree took the narrow win over #32
Neff and #0 Billy Harkins.
In post race inspection, Ferree was penalized positions for rule infractions moving #32
Neff to the first position followed by #0 Harkins, #07 Leaf, and #33 Kellogg.
The B.I. Motorsports team would like
to thank out associate sponsors: Loveland Tire and Service, Trademark Imaging, Red Bull, Windsor Performance and Exhaust
and Web by Briggs. The next event for the team will be the AAa Rental Center Memorial Day Challenge next Satuday at Colorado
National Speedway.
