Dave Neff started racing in 1998 in the Enduro Division at Colorado National
Speedway. During his rookie year he raced at CNS, I-76 Speedway and Rocky Mountain National Speedway. It didn’t take
him long to appreciate racing on the dirt and began to build cars that would be competitive at both I-76 and RMNS. His work
paid off for him during the 2005 racing season at RMNS. He won Track Champ for his division. This was particularly special
because this was also the final season for RMNS as it was being closed down because of Urban sprawl.
Dave’s passion for racing is shared in our family. Both David and
Mark have been racing since they were 14 years old. As they each came of age and expressed a desire to follow their Dad onto
the track, Dave would spend countless hours with them, working on their cars, coaching them through track conditions and different
techniques to meet each race’s own challenges. This has truly been a sport that has bonded our family together.
